Rental Rules
Smoking of any kind, including vaping, is strictly prohibited inside the cottage. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly and avoid littering the property.
2. Occupancy and Guests
Only the individuals listed on the rental agreement are permitted to stay overnight at the property. Any additional guests are the responsibility of the primary guest and must not exceed the occupancy limit agreed upon.
3. Noise and Neighborhood Respect
Please be mindful of noise levels to avoid disturbing neighbors. Quiet hours are enforced from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM in accordance with local codes.
4. Property Care and Housekeeping
Please keep the premises and furnishings in good condition. Use all appliances only for their intended purposes. Leave the property in a reasonably clean condition. A fee may be charged for excessive cleaning if necessary. Do not remove towels from the house for use outside the property.
5. Outdoor Areas and Kayak Use
Do not leave personal items or trash outside overnight to avoid attracting wildlife and to maintain the appearance of the property.
The fire pit is available for use. Please:
- Never leave the fire unattended.
- Ensure the fire is fully extinguished before leaving the area.
- Do not use the fire pit during local fire bans or when winds are strong.
Kayaks are available for guest use. Please:
- Always wear a life jacket when using the kayaks.
- Return the kayaks and paddles to their designated storage area after use.
- Rinse off any mud or debris from the kayaks before storing them.
- Use the kayaks at your own risk, and be mindful of weather conditions.
6. Parking
Parking is limited to 4 vehicles, which must be parked in the driveway. Parking on the road is not allowed, and any illegally parked cars may be towed at the owner’s expense.
7. Garbage Disposal
Please dispose of garbage in the designated bins located at the side of the house. Bins should be placed at the curb on Tuesday night for Wednesday morning pick-up and returned to the side of the house afterward.
8. Fireplace and Appliances
The indoor fireplace is not available for use. Please refrain from using it. The use of the portable dishwasher is not permitted.
9. Security and Prohibited Activities
Please lock all doors and windows when leaving the property to ensure the security of the house.
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal drug use
- Hosting large parties or events
- Subletting the property to others
- Any activity that violates local laws or regulations
10. Liability and Damage Policy
The property is privately owned, and the owners are not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables. Guests assume all risks related to the use of the property.
Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during their stay. A fee may be charged for repairs or replacements needed due to damage caused by guests. Please report any accidental damage to the owners as soon as possible.
11. Weather and Natural Conditions
No refunds will be given for inclement weather or other naturally occurring conditions that may negatively impact the quality of your stay.

Guests should ensure the property is vacated on time to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guests.
